In regards to your questions, the laptop was a thought out purchase, but I want to stay with Windows 7 for the time being and upgrade later. As for the apples within device manager, some items are flagged, but I downloaded additional drivers to asus these problems. So you're saying I can purchase any mouse and it should function properly? Seems like a long shot, as there's bound to be some incompatibly issues. I'll look into it some more, but thanks for now. They did work, just slower. It's been working 3 years right out of the box. This for my test computer so I have Vista, 7, 8.
